DTC help
2006 SIlverado 5.3
I have codes P0050 (O2 heater control circuit - bank 2 sensor 1), P0059 (O2 heater resistance - bank 2 sensor 1), and P0154 (O2 sensor circuit no activity detected - bank 2 sensor 1). Could this just be a bad O2 sensor? I'm due for a smog at the end of this month and I've been tryin to figure this mess out for a couple weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

If you google "O2 sensor test", you will find some good info. Here is one link that provides a description of how the sensor works and how to test it:

I notice you are in California....the Emission inspection is very strict. I do not think you can just clear the code, I think you need to show that something was fixed or replaced.
At 6 years old, I would think more than one may be sluggish.
2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Oxygen Sensor - Denso, Standard Motor Products, Bosch - TheAutoPartsShop - TheAutoPartsShop
I would go with the ACDelco 213-3533

Thanks for the replies, it ended up being a crappy connection. Used some contact cleaner, plugged it in, cleared the codes and it's been good. No engine light. Runs strong. Now I can get er smogged and put on the market....
