I've asked this a long time ago & am re-asking just in case one of you ran into this and solved it since I last wrote.

My 2000 Sierra has electric mirrors. Both will go Left & Up, but not Right & Down. I tired 2 new switches (verified Ok on another truck). No luck. I tried two "auto electric" repair places- no luck. I've asked a lot of people with GMC & Chevy trucks int his era. Some said they also have the identical problem. I tired several books for wiring diagrams (it seems that there must be two different power sources to this switch. The wire disappear into the window switch block. I also tried a different-known-good window switch.)

My problem is that I tow generators of different weights and I would really like to get these operating because every tow is different- needing adjustments (especially when I'm backing up or down a slope) I'm way too cheap to go to a dealer.

What do you all think? I will sure appreciate your input.
