Default 91 Silverado 1500 problem

hello this is my first post. I have a 1991 Chevy Silverado. I recently changed the bulbs on the cluster and now it lights up no issue. But the new problem I have is that the gas gauge does read how much gas it has. I know this because I pumped $70 dollars and it reads less than a quarter. Any ideas how to help?? Thank you.

If this problem showed up after you pulled the cluster to change the bulbs, you probably pulled a wire off your fuel gauge. It's easy to break or short a wire when you are doing something like that. I would pull the cluster again and carefully visually check the wiring and you will probably see the problem. Let us know what you find. Good luck.
