Default Ethanol in gas

I've noticed in times where I fill up in gas that says it contains ethanol I get the worst gas milage ever. I think they put it in the gas to just make things burn cleaner but in my experience I find that it does nothing to help mpgs. Has anyone else taken notice of this? Any suggestions on maybe certain fuel stations to shop at? I had gas milage with Chevron and on military bases.

Absolutely my wifes Escalade was set up to run on the E-85. I thought at first it was a great deal b/c the gas was significantly cheaper. So we filled it with that a couple times...the mileage sucked and the truck actually started to idle a little rough. I put the normal stuff back in it and within a tank it was back idling nprmal and the mileage returned. I don't think they have it perfected yet.

Thats a given when dealing with Ethanol. It certainly doesn't do any favors for your gas mileage.
