Excessive Suspension Noise
Zup guys. Have an 06 Sierra SS/T that makes a lot of noise up front. Recently replaced has been the intermediate steering shaft, hub bearings, breaks all the way around and ball joints. I as well as two mechanics have check the truck top to bottom. All joints, tie rods etc are tight. Everything is in spec. All bushings in good shape. And no one can identify the noise. The warmer the weather, the louder the bangs. Seriously sounds like two pieces of metal hitting each other and when the weather is really hot, the almost feels like the whole front end of the truck is loose. Can also feel it in the break petal some. Other way I can feel it is if from a complete stop i stomp the gas. I can feel it bang in the front. Almost feels like the suspension is moving forward and backwards. Any ideas?? Everything common has been checked and even though the guys that looked at it have heard it, no one can identify it.
