I have a 2002 extended cab Z71 that has the doors that swing 90 degrees. Wondering if there is a kit to make them open all the way (180 degrees-ish)? It is a GMC, but they should be the same as Silverado and I posted a similar question in the GMC forum.

 

you might want to look into the nissan titan. their ext cab doors go 180. you might be able to pick up some hinges or get some ideas to fab them up your self.

 

I know that the 2007 Silverados have 180* turning doors. My best advise would be to look closesly at the 07 hinge, maybe at the dealership...lol. Then if you think they are similar you can order a pair through the dealership at a pretty penny and fab some kinda mounting plates. And thats all if the door will clear the body when swinging back. you might be able to just unbolt the end part of the catch and it might swing freely.. i havent looked at the 200x-2007 lately but i know the if you remove the stop itll go as far as you wnat

 

If that works, I would extend the stop so you don't smack the doors on the bed.
