Factory 2 inch lift on stock 2002 2500 HD 4X4 ?

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 Silverado 2500 HD 4X4 and the seller was telling me that all 2500 HD's came stock from the factory with a two inch lift installed. Is this a fact ?

Well I doubt that a truck came from the factory with a "lift kit", but it's possible that the truck came with a higher than normal ride height. It's possible that the truck has a lift kit currently, and has been installed very nicely, but the chances that the truck came with a lift kit are very slim if you ask me. The only way I see a truck coming from General Motors with an actual lift kit, is if it was a promotional vehicle at some point and GM modified it to suit their marketing needs.

This was a dealer that was telling me this and the truck came from municipal services , so it is unlikely that they would go to the trouble of raising it, but it does have a noticable difference in height compared to some regular 2500;s that I looked at. Does anyone know for a fact that the HD's came from the factory sitting a little higher ?
