Failed emissions

Failed emissions
Greetings,
Couple of questions...
I just failed my emissions test today but passed the pressure of the gas cap. The failure was due to two codes coming up. P0449 Vent valve solenoid circuit and P0455 System leak detected.
I went to a Chevy dealer and was informed from the codes it would be 150 for a new solenoid.
Does all of this sound correct? Should I go to a dealer or go to my normal shop?
