Good show, you have done well with the truck,
I have not been so luck with my Chevy,
I bought my 2000 model Chevy 2500 series new and have tried to take care of it, almost no one has ever driven it but me, and truck now has 82K.
350 engine, 4l80E transmission, 3.73 gears
Front left brake caliber dragging, truck pulled to left most all time, replaced under warranty less than 10K
Tachometer died replaced under warranty, less than 10K.
Odor kit installed at 10K under warranty, cab smelled like dogs butt, mama would not even ride in truck, installed under warranty. (very few chevys get a odor kit, maybe i should feel honored).
Fuel pump out at 45K $600
Alternator out at 58K $115
Intakegaskets at 60K $475,
Tailgate straps replaced under warranty
AC compressor at 70K $600
Water pump at 75K $150
Transmission torque converter at 80K $1050,

Hey Wellmax you should call a dealer and see I got a 2000 GMC when I called they had a recall on the wheel speed censor. And the tailgate cables were also replaced under recall.

RE: Finally turned 200,000!
On mine I had to:
1. replace 4 wheel drive actuator
2. replace a U-joint
3. replace front rotors
4. replace all four shocks
5. all fluids
6. recharge A/C
7. new battery
...considering all but the actuator were regular maintenance I figure its not bad. I need a window motor soon and a possibly another (different) U-joint, but that's it. Just turned over 92,000.

damn you guys are making me feel bad because i run the crap out of my truck, half my commute is through baltimore city with plenty of redlights and rough roads, not to mention i like to go four wheeling. mine did get a new battery last year and new shocks, and a wheel bearing come to think of it. but thats basic wear. then again my rear diff is about to go out, im gonna throw a detriot true-trac in it before it leaves me hanging, exspecially in the middle of baltimore city haha

SWEET! Im lookin forward to my 200k mark. im half way there with my '02 and have had no issues what so ever. Goes to show what routine maintnence prevents. I do however need to drop the pan on my tranny andslap a new filter in there. But thats it.
