Default Foglamps

My 2001 2500HD has foglamps. For the third time, I have had to replace the one on the driver's side. They are really chintzy......the bracketry that holds then on is plastic and will break easily. Being down low, and susceptible to damage from road debris, and ice thrown up during storms.
Are there any after market replacements that are more robust than the junky factory ones? Or, is there a way that I can reinforce the factory designed ones?
Thanks.

I know Pilot automotivemakes a replacement for our trucks. They fit in the factory spot....and are alot better thanthe stock housing. I would like to get me a set too because my lenses have came out of mine and now one bulb is blown. The part numbers arePL-133B and PL-133C depending on if you want a blue coated lens orthe clear lens. Im not really sureif they connect to the factory harness and if itsplug and play or if we have to splice the harness and connect because it comes with a different bulb than what the stock is. Hope this helps.

Well I bought glass ones from Walmart. They are square and smaller, much brighter and a little tougher. I got sick of replacing mine at 70 bucks a pop. These are only $20. I had one shatter but for $20 a pair Im not complaining. They are glass and steel. They are about the same price each as the bulbs were for the factory lights!

See the Cheap Body Mods Sticky for details.
