I just replaced my fuel pump in my 2003 silverado. 5.3L. it runs fine now but when i start my engine i hear a beeping sound and on my dash in red is this symbol (!) if i put my truck in drive and drive around there will be a constant beeping sound. if i stop but am still in drive the beeping will stop but the red symbol will still be on the dash.. any advice?

 

I believe the (!) symbol is part of the brake warning system and the beep sound is also part of the brake warning system. Next to the (!) there should be a (P) which is for the parking brake.
