fuel pump-"robust" fuel system?!?

Anybody know what a robust fuel system is? Trying to replace my fuel pump/sending unit, parts store has em listed as either robust or non-robust. Don't know what I need, don't know the difference. Pump isn't holding pressure when ignition is turned on, can't replace just the check valve so gonna do the whole sending unit. I suppose I can drop the tank and check the i.d. tag on the thing but I kinda don't want to take it all apart and wait for parts if they don't have em. Thanks for any help. Oh yeah it's a 00 z-71 5.3l if that helps anybody out.

It means if you have the set up to run flex fuel or E85. The lines and filteration are all different from others using regular unleaded fuel.

You learn something new everyday!! :) I didn't even know they had flex fuel motors back in 2000?? Good to know!! I would have just guessed it was the optional 30-33 gal tank instead of the "standard size" one.<laugh>
Thanks for the info. I was aware of the lines being stainless in the E85s but I didn't know they went back that far.
Thanks Ruffneck4Lyfe!!

Commutator bars in fuel pumps were changed from copper to graphite due to the variety of fuel blends and fuel additives. Also, some components in the fuel system changed from plastic to stainless steel.
