gas gauge troubleshoot
 

I just bought a 02 sierra shortbox ,reg cab for my birthday . I've always owned the88-98 models but they are getting hard to find in decent shape.The gas gauge doesn't work and I am wondering if I can ckeck it out easily . I will probably replace the pump later this winter when work slows down ,just wondering how to check it in case its the gauge . Thanks
