01 gmc 130,000 miles runs 15-20 sec then dies

fuelrail psi reads 10psiI'm pretty sure that this not enough but I dont know the correct psi

anyone have any ideas or suggestions

ok well it sounds like that you have a very weak pump because that does not sound like the correct psi i am unaware of the correct psi but what you are getting does not sound right make sure that there is not a secondary pump under neath the cab in the fuel line, it would be attached to the frame, if there is one then that means that your in tank pump is properly working and the other pump is not pushing enough to keep the truck running

 

Pressure should be approx. 50# with vacuum to the regulator, 60# without.
