GMC towing package?
 

Hi all

My first post to the forums. I have a 2000 GMC Sierra k2500 SLT with what I believe is a factory installed tow package. I now need to install a brake controller. From everything I've read this sounds pretty straight forward, e.g. here. However, where I look under the dash, I can't find the junction box. For some reason mine looks very different (see pic). Does anyone know where I can find the brake controller plug on this GMC truck?

that 3/4 ton is OLD body style...no such plug...you'll have to wire it up yourself..

however,,,under the hood is a blue wire run to the rear and a red hot wire to run 12v aux to the rear...look under the master cyl..tied up down there
