Default GMC vs. Chevy

Who owns a GMC and who owns a Chevy? What are your reasons for choosing one or the other?

Personally, I like em both and have owned em both but I prefer GMC mainly because of looks.

Surely there has to be a reason you chose the truck you chose? C'mon man...

I own one of each. I love them both, but I actually prefer the GMC only because of the rectangular grill. It's just more pleasing to my eye, over the bisected grill of the Chevy.
Of the New trucks I like the GMC better, too. What I don't like about the Chevy front end is the two large square boxes on either side of the front bumper, where the driving lights go on the upper optioned models.
Just like the look of the GMC front ends a little better.

I have a 2011 Sierra Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.2l in it. Recently traded in my 2008 ext cab for it. Needed a bit more guts for towing and the 6.2 sure gives it.
I agree, the look of the front and rear is just better on the GMC- I do like the Avalanche, but I like the service that my dealership provided every time over the past 9 years so that made my decision even easier.

BTW: Burns GMC in Marlton, NJ. Their service dept rocks in every fashion, and my mechanic, Chas, always has my back !!!

I agree, I like the GMC front ends better. But I have seen some sharp looking Chevys as well.
