got my exhaust finally...

I ordered a Pacesetter TFX catback system from Jegs a couple of weeks back and finally got it. I was a little peeved that it got dented in shipping. (not worth the hassle of sending it back). Also there were some issues with the "bolts right up in the stock location" part. I brought it to a muffler shop and it took the guy 3 hours to get it "right". He had to remove the dust guard from the shock to get it to sit right. I was kinda mad till I started it up and heard the rumble. GIDDY UP!!! Who the hell looks under the truck anyway? The last thing on my to do list is to get an air tube fabricated to replace the stock one. I am running a cone filter attached to the MAF with an adapter and a TBS. When it is all done (and clean:)) I'll post some good pics.

Not to be nosey but i was wondering why you didn't have a local muffler shop bend up a catback system, rather than buy 1? Lets say it cost $400.00 for the catback system. then, the muffler shop spent 3 hrs @ lets say $40.00 an hour, your talking about $520.00. I got mine done at a local muffler shop, with 6" chrome tips, 50 series Flowmaster muffler, and installed for $400.00. Mine wasn't SST but i weren't worried about that, and it sounds NICE, straight out the back........... Just my .02 worth, Jim
