Hard start

Got a 96 GMC 5.7 V8 that is hard starting 70º + after sitting over night. Do they still use a cold start injector on them. Or could this be a weak fuel pump. Thanks for any help.:)

Any black smoke coming from the exhaust after it starts? Could be the fuel pump leak down. I'd check fuel pressure.
