Hey guys, I'm changing my timing chain/gaskets/sprockets etc etc...

Getting the harmonic balancer pulley off by hand was interesting... but I'm not sure the outcome of putting it on... it having a mind of its own rolling around and such.

Are there any methods for a guy that doesn't own powertools or compressor in terms of re-installing it? I do have access to a hand torque ratchet though.

 

haha well then, I guess I'll be gettin' creative with it.

 

Most larger auto parts stores will loan the tool for removing and installing the damper. They just require a deposit to insure it's return. It can result in damage if you don't use the proper tool.
