Default Header Help

Hey im new to this forum and i need some help. I just installed the superchips cortex 2950, CAI, and a cat back exhast system, and WOW what a difference. I have to say the truck stock with a 6.0 litre and it is a 1500 4wd it had a hard time doing a burnout in 2wd mode. Now not even trying it will spin the tires shifting into 2nd gear. Well now i want to go a little deaper and spend a LITTLE bit more money and get a set of headers. The porblem is that i want long tube headers not shorty's. Is there anyone who can help me find a set of Long tube headers becuase all the ones that i find are shorty's. Again it is a 2008 6.0 litre vortec max 1500 LT. 4 wd and the exhaust is magna flow if it matters.
Thanks Alot

I have almost the same stock truck that you do except mine is 2wd. I put JBA shortys on my truck and honestly I saw 1.5 mpg increase no matter if I'm driving hard on it or just taking it easy. It made a deeper thrust sound with the flow master muffler.

I like long tube headers too but I couldn't really find any either. I probably would have kept looking but I just got a good deal for the JBA shorty headers which just bolt on in place of the manifolds.

So did te JBA shorty headers make a performance difference, responce difference, etc... Not just the MPG? I am looking at shorties, but I think I will go with long tube, but I am still tossing it up.

So has anyone found a set of long tubes that will work on a late model 4x4?

A little more throttle responsiveness and better accelerating power in higher rpms. I think there is more power in just cruising because I can just take my foot off the gas pedal entirely around 30 mph and the truck just keeps going at that speed until there is a hill. And even then, I don't have to push the pedal down as much to keep up speed in normal driving.
