For the last few months when I turn on my heat and the blower kicks on it makes an aweful noise, does anyone know if this sounds like it is going out??? or could it be something else??? if so how hard are they to change in a 1993 chevy 1500 thanks!!!!

Sounds like a baseball card in your bicycle spokes? Try dropping the fan, there may be debris in it.

My 93' did the same thing. It was trash in it. The rubber and sound dampening material around it would come loose and suck in some trash from the cab, like a piece of paper, or candy wrapper and hit against the fan. Once I cleaned it out and made sure it sealed good there were no more issues.
