when i turn my truck on (03' 5.3) the a/c blows hot air only. basicly none of the dials or buttons work on the unit. anyone know the name of the part i need to buy?

 

hi have you checked that the a/c clutch is locked in on the compressor outside. That would be the first thing to check. Check that if the clutch hub is turning then the compressor is engaged and the problem could be a freon leak

could be your blend door of the motor for the door. if it breaks they usually tend to stay towards the heat side and it will be all heat
