Help 1998 Sierra K1500 stalling out

SO here's the deal, I have this truck, the engine is perfect in it, only 75,000 miles on it (im converting it from kms for you guys:)). It starts without hesitation and runs strong, until it heats up, then things start going wacky on me. Eventually what happens is the whole engine shuts off, but the power is still there, and it doesn't want to start. The wacky things leading up to this are:
1. The brake pedal feels like the ABS system is working when i barely press on it, and it trys to push me to thresh hold even though im not even close to it.
2. The spedometer starts to slightly twitch when i go above 40mph.
3. The cruise control cuts out and won't stay on for more then a second

So at this point i pull over and let the truck idle for a bit. Then the following happens:
1. The idle goes down to about 250rpm, barely even running
2. The fuel pump makes a loud weezing noise, sounding like it's struggling

Now I give it gas and it begins to act normal again. So i begin to drive and it works for about 20 mins. After 20 mins the spedometer starts twitching like crazy, showing me speeds between 10mph and 110mph. Then it stalls and won't start unless i let it sit for 10 or so mins.

I suspected the fuel pump was going, i also hooked my scanner up to it and it gave me the following codes:
C0222 Right Front Wheel Speed Signal Missing
C0226 Left Front Wheel Speed Signal Missing
C0227 Left Front Wheel Speed Signal Erratic
C0281
Brake Switch Circuit
P0420
Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1)

The SES light is on aswell, i suspect thats the P0420 code, and the other problems leading up to the stall are related to the C0XXX codes. But i can't figure out why the hell it's stalling. I also have freeze frames to when those codes appeared with the engine temp., load etc. If you want those let me know and I'll e-mail those to you.

ANY IDEAS?

the fuel pump is most likely bad...but you need to check the pressure to make sure.

the 420 code means the CAT is no longer effective

all those abs codes need to be diagnosed seperately

That's odd that they would act up at once though. Maybe it's just a fluke but I wonder if they are caused by the same thing. Don't see how they could be but that's just too wierd. The ABS isn't governed or regulated by the ECU at all is it?

the abs has its own brain..I imagine those codes have slowly accumulated over time

probably your fuel pump and either a cat or egr. yea thats the problem with those codes, they keep adding up over time and cant give you anything useful like when. its better then lookin at it blindly like back in the day.

check your grounds!!!!!!

I just spent 4 days in and out of my 98 sierra trying to find out why it was stalling:confused: I put in a new fuel pump $$$.$$ that hurt the pump was bad but I had this going on for a month before that so i checked and tested every sensor and Ignition Control Module and coil and all it was is broken grounds from the body to the frame and to the motor so check them first and you might save your self a lot of time I hope this helps ya all
