Help! Delco Electronics

Hey guy's newby here. I need help with an issue with my 2000 Z71 LT, I just bought the truck a couple months ago and love it. I'm old school and like a totally factory ride.

The Truck had a POS Sony radio, so I put the original Delco radio back in it, the problem is, I can't plug the antenna lead into the back of the Radio, the pin is to big!! Is there an adapter that is supposed to be there?? What am I missing??

Thanks in advance for any help.

Bo

To the contrary, the factory plug is bigger than the one that would have plugged into the Sony unit that came in there. Pull the coax out of the dash an little and look for the other end of the adapter - if there is one. As far as I know, that's the way it should work. That's how it worked on my '89, 96, 97 and my brother's 98 Camaro, and my Mom's 2000 Venture ;)

Chances are, there's an adapter on there. If not, maybe you don't have the right radio? Perhaps you need an adapter.

Thanks NullHead, I will look again for adapter on the Co-Ax, I'm re-installing the original Delco unit that came with the truck from the factory...I've got a couple adapters ordered...will follow up when they get here...cheers and thanks again!!
