help! trying tio install pwrseats in base model truck
 

just wondering if anyone has done this , truck is 2003 w/t manual seats trying to install 2006 pwr ss seats ther is aplug there but doesnt seem have any power! please help Thanks

You are probably looking at the plug for the seat belt...it tells the ECM when the seat belt is connected to shut off the light on the dash. Power seats are a simple swap though. Just run a power and ground under the carpet and connect it to the plug on the seats. Use a decent size wire I would say about a 12 guage or so because it takes a good amount of current to run that seat motor. Hope it works out for you!
