Default Horn problem.....

My horn works when it wants to, which is rarely. I am assuming it is the relay. Any idea where I can find it on my truck?

What else would cause an intermittent horn? I'd say once out of every 5 times I use it, it works. It works with the key FOB always. I tried cleaning the contact in the steering wheel but I don't like doing that cause of the airbag.

well, the relay is good if the fob works the horn...its most likely the wire that goes into the contact loose, due to a broken contact...thats the most popular

I think you are right. I was just messing with it. If I hit the centerpiece low instead of in the middle, it actually works. I did this like 10 times and it worked consistantly. (F*** the neighbors, lol) Is it worth tearing apart you think?

Thanks a lot argon!

its a cheap part...maybe 8 bucks for a contact...but yes,AIRBAG SAFETY..also,you'll need a lockplate depresser to get the contact off
