horsepower help

Default horsepower help

I have a 04 5.3L v8 with triple dog downloader, JBL headers, flomaster 40 series, and K&N air filter...just wonderin if anyone has any ideas to increase my horsepower that doesnt cost me $1000+

ill try that thanks, also thinking about picking up airraid throttle body spacer, iv heard alot of good things about it.

throttle body spacers do nothing on 96+ trucks. get rid of the downloader and get a custom tune from either nelsonperformance.com or blackbear performance. you may not get a but load more hp over the downloader but removing 80% of the torque management will make a big difference on how the truck runs.

most handhelds are lucky to get 10hp to the wheels on 87, custom tunes are usually 15-20hp to the wheels.
