I had a 1984 C-30 I put 430,000 miles on that 454 before I traded it for my 02 2500 with a 496in the fall of 2001. My 02 is still strong and in like new condition with 110,000 miles on her.I have always done regular maintenance and service with only a few problems. Mostly badsensors. I hope to have this truck for another ten years. Does this sound reasonable to you dudes and what have been your experiences and millage with your trucks?All comments welcome! Thanks,

If you take care of it, it will last forever, I don't know how you can afford the fuel economy of that hog though

 

430,000 miles! damn....
i know people with silverados in the 230-260 ranges...not many but i do know some.
taking regular care of it it the biggest factor with length, although with a 430,000 mile truck, im sure you are aware

 

True if ya worry about the cost of the fuel then ya sure cant afford the truck.

 

yea if I could get somewhere in the 200,000 mile range that would be real sweet.
