How much would I have to lift a stock 2004 Z71 with 265/70R17 inch rims to fit some 315/70R-17 wheels and tires.I Can get a good deal on sometires and wheelsjust wondering what kind of lift and how high I would have to go?? Don't want a monster truck just trying to get it leveled out and looking a bit better. Thanks

RE: How much lift?
i was runnin 305-70's on my pickup with just the torsion bars jacked, and it was still rubbin a little, you mat have to go all in with a 4 inch lift for that
although i have heard that the 4 and 6 inch lif tis the same lift at differant companies, so do a little research there first |
RE: How much lift?
3" body or 4" suspension with a little torsion bar adjustment

RE: How much lift?
Thanks for the info guys.. With the cost of a suspension lift I might look at the 3inch BL and torsion bar route. Can I get it out of the stock keys or will I have to go to the ford keys?

RE: How much lift?
im not sure, you'd just have to try it and see... i know the 97-ish trucks could clear with the stock keys, but i hear the newer trucks dont allow as much play in the torsion bars

RE: How much lift?
From what I have about your truck and 34x11.00's it says that you will need a 3" lift with minor fender trimming (probably around the bumper) and also wheel offset is critical. That is from peterson's 4 wheel and off road.
