How to replace the blower motor?

The blower motor is making noise (91 silverado k1500) and I'd like to replace it. I've got the Haynes manual but it does not do a good job of explaining the procedure.

Does anyone have good diagrams and/or a better-written procedure?

It's pretty straight forward just get in there with your 9/32" socket and start removing whats in the way on the passenger side behind the glove box.

What kind of noise might be something stuck in it .
Maybe a leaf, ect. This time of year mine always gets a leaf or too .

Squeals when it's cold. Goes away after it warms up a minute or two.

I would not worry about it for now. Mine does same thing for years , i have a 91 silverado. Heck mine gets water in the heater box , condesation from where i use ac a lot.
Had too drill a little hole, let water out. My motto wait till it goes out , then fix.
There is nothing to change it out like Shamrock said , take it apart , watch how you take it out , put it back.

Really? That's exactly what mine does too!

I just realized - if water condensation gets into the motor bearing this may be the cause of the squealing.
