How should I lift my truck?

I have a 89 sierra and I don't know what I should use to lift my truck. Should I do a suspension lift, body lift, or both? Is their any brands to look out for or any brands that are better than others? Thanks

Brother try to never do a body lift. Fabtech does an AWESOME Job with lift kits. You can go the cheap route with 2.5 Keys (torsion bars) and rear blocks (never stack blocks) to get enough lift for 33x12,50's If your truck is a short bed reg cab be careful about anything over 6 inches as the pinion angle will cause a vibration and premature ujoint failure.
