HT383E intake manifold?

I am helping a friend with his 1998 k1500 silverado. It currently has a, trashed vortec 350. He went ahead and took the easy way out and got a HT383E. My question is on the intake manifold. . .

I know you can use the stock intake manifold on this engine. However, is there a better alternative (upgrade) than the stock manifold.

thanks,
Cody

I think there is a good one you can get from edelbrock.

That is 1 of the intakes I had on my 90 model. Answer me this... Is the 98 a throttle body setup or is it a multiport injection setup?

It is TBI, but whats throwin me off is what the stock intake looks like vs aftermarket intakes. When specifically searching for the truck, no aftermarket items come up. Just stock. . . http://www.summitracing.com/search/D...?Ns=Rank%7cAsc

The one from Edelbrock will do just fine. It has more power in the upper RPM's. But you will be limited with that TBI set up. But you will be set for towing.
