I decided to seafoam my truck and take a video

Cleaned everything out though I bet. It's a great product and does one helluva job.

Hey Guys.....I have never heard of Seafoaming. Can you explain this please. Thanks
|
Seafoam is a cleaner, comes in a 12 or 16 oz can and can be added into your fuel tank or pulled by vaccuum into the intake. It's a great cleaner to remove intake deposits and buildup along intake runners as well as the valves and piston sleeves. When added to the fuel, it cleans lines and injectors much better than most fuel additives. The smoke he's getting is from the intake process, it takes a few minutes for it to all blow through.

If i read correctly the white smoke is the carbon burning in the cylinders
|
You read correctly, that and the residual seafoam. If you were to be able to see a before and after of the upper plenum, you would see a drastic difference. One of the nice things is that seafoam is sensor safe also, so it does help clean from intake to exhaust tip.
|
thats why its good
im not in the mood to replace O2 sensors that love to weld themselves in |
To save yourself that fate, take them out and throw anti-sieze on the threads.
|
When I turned wrenches for a living, I used it religiously on parts that would have to come back out at some point. Mainly to save bloody knuckles if I was the cat who had to do it lol.
|
dont forget the seafoam you can also put in your oil just before a oil change to help clean the oil pump and what not out also can be used in yoru trans
i dont recomend doing that unless you feel like doing a complete trans flush which isnt easy @ wiked yoru exsaust sounds freakin awsome i think i am gonna go with a setup simaler to yours when i redo mine |
