Ignition Fuse Blows 1988 Silverado

I need help. I have an 88 Silverado extended cab longbed. Overdrive or plain drive on column. The truck has started to blow the 10amp fuse that runs the ignition. Starter will turn but acts like a bad fuel pump. This first happened about one year ago. It happened again a month ago. This past weekend it happened 5 times in about a 2 mile stretch on the interstate traveling 55-65 mph..
All times have been pulling a 6 x 12 closed trailer and all have been on the same stretch of road about 35 miles from home(weird and creepy). I admit the first time I had the cruise control on because the trailer only has a motorcycle and track day supplies in it. Probably 2000 lbs including the trailer. The second time was without the cruise on. This last time the fuse blew just after I got back on the road. Kept blowing as fast as I could put them in.
The owners manual says the ignition, ABS brake switch, and something about the transmissin is on this fuse. If you have this same truck it is the upper of the two 10amp fuses on the left side of the fusbox. I remove the plug from the antilock control--still blew. Finally sat on the side of the road for about twenty minutes, put in my last fuse, set it in drive not overdrive, and drove the rest of the way and then back home at the end of the day(130 mile round trip) with out failure. Before the last fuse I tried moving the wiring harness back and forth thinking there is a bad spot on a wire somewhere.
I drive this truck very little, maybe 1500 miles a year. The odometer stopped at 115000 but has maybe 130,000 total as a best guess.

Any help on where to start would be great.
