Intake manifold

I just noted a small piece of foam between the underside if the fuel injection and the top of the block. Is this supposed to be there for insulationg the fuel rail? or is this a piece from the factory left in by mistake or is it supposed to be there?

Call your dealership. I think that it is suppose to be there for insulating purposes
