Interior Panel Removal

Well, for Christmas I received a new Pioneer CD player/Stereo/speaker system for my truck. It came with the two 4x6 speakers that I need to replace the two rear speakers. I was hoping somebody had a diagram for how to remove the plastic interior panels that cover those speakers. I know I will probably have to unbolt the seatbelt somehow and I would really like to do this without damaging any of the panels. So if anyone has any diagrams, hints, tricks, or likewise on how to go about doign this... I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to all,
Kevin

you'll have to take the whole door panel to get to the speaker.

The speaker is not in the door. It is in the pillar behind the door and there is a plastic piece that spans from the roof to the floor that covers it with the top of the seatbelt pulley bolting into it.

This is a regular cab correct? You gotta unbolt the seatbelts. Unscrew the screws. Pull off the rear plastic cover across the rear of the cab. And it will come apart peice by peice. And remove the plastic shelf from behind the seat to that holds the jack. And bepreared you will be breaking the plastic peices that hold the clips that attach the plastic to the metal frame. I JB Welded my plastic broken peices back on and it was good to go. And I never took it apart again.

Yes it is a regular cab. Are you sure that the peice on the back has to come off??? From looking at it it doesn't look that way... I was told to pick up a trim removal tool which I will probably do soon.

i think the back piece does have to come off i can't remember its ben a while but it will just pull off it might be a little hard but u shouldnt break anything then u take off the seat belt and i think the coat hook 2 . there will be some more clips on the side panel just like there are on the back panel. just pull the panel off. i think then u might have to twist the pastic some crazy way to get it all the way out.

I took another look and yeah the back panel has to come off first. I picked up the trim removal tool.
