Intermitant wiper problem
 

They work fine, but at the lowest setting, the wipers activate every 5 seconds....when you get up to the middle setting, its the same as the wipers being on full time. I would rather at the low setting that the wipers would activate every 10 seconds or so....Any way to adjust this?

97 GMC 4x4

There is a recall on these trucks for the wiper pulse boards going bad. I'd have your dealer check your truck for recalls and see if they'll replace that pulse board if you indeed have the recall.

Also you can give me your vin# and I can run it through the system at work and see if there is any that way.

Will Pm it to you in the morning....would a recall still be in effect for a 1997?

I was surprised to see my own truck pop up in the list when I ran the vin on my '96, so I don't see why not!

I had a similar problem. Just replaced the motor.
