Just Switched

I just traded my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 in for a 2005 Chevy Silverado. I was a member of www.dodgeforum.com and don't know if the sites are related as they look almost identical.

Does anybody know if the Factory installed Stereo has an input jack on the back so i can plug in the iPod?

glad to have you here on the chevy side sounds like you made a great upgrade hope ya enjoy the truck ...... it does not have an ipod hook up directly in the back of the radio , but what Isimple offers a GM ipod adaptor that plugs into youre factory harness and runs an ipod cable to your glove box or to your prefference for where you want the ipod.. it costs 100 dollars but the advantade youll have is that you can completely control the ipod from the factory radio and the ipod will be charging the whole time its plugged in , you dont even need to touch the ipod to change songs/aritist/genre what ever it can all be controlled threw the radio.. by the way best buy carries the product on the shelf in there car audio dept. hope this helps and enjoy the bowtie
