Default key cylinder remover

what's the procedure of removing the key cylinder from a c1500 gmc truck. can anyone tell me.

89isprettysmple,but you'll need a couple of special tools....a steering wheel puller,and lock-ring depressor...the key cylinder is pretty cheap with 2 new keys...

I've removed everything down to cylinder but it won't come out, the key is stuck in the run position.

Didn't Know About A Torx Screw. Where Is It Located??

There Is a Bolt Just Above The Cylinder, Not A Torx, And It Just Turn But Won't Come Out.

yeah..under the turn signal switch...then there is a plastic/metal key buzzer spring to take out of a hole...then it should be a torx...unless someone switched it
