Key fob and lock not working
 

I have a friend with a 2003 chevy tahoe LT and both key fobs stoped working and when you press the lock bottom on driver side on the door it does not lock the passenger side but locks other three doors. We have tried to reprogram the key fobs but nothing. So we dont have a clue what it could be. Thanks guys.

Many locksmith shops now, are able to fix that. They have a wide selection of factory remotes etc..... It'd be worth a shot.

Does the door lock/unlock with the button on the door?

No the door unlock lock botton on the door does nothing.

This happened on my wifes van 2 years back ...but it's a Dudge ...I had to replace a relay.

A blown lighter fuse will stop the door locks from working with the switch...the fobs are probably another problem

Either fuse or maybe the actuator(?) to unlock that paticular door went bad.

Hunt - does the window work on the passenger side? If not, may be a bad connection. Maybe at the door switch itself.

Okay guys the window on the passenger side does not work. So what should we check? Thanks

only 1 way to be sure...remove the panel and check it with a test lite...it works from neither switch,I assume/
