Leveling kit for my 2010 Silverado 1500 4x4

Hey guys I just bought a 2010 silverado a few weeks ago. I don't know a whole hell of a lot about chevy suspension and all my friends are mostly Ford patrons. What I'm wondering is what is the safest way to level my truck without doing anything harmful to the front suspension? I have heard spacers put more tension on the axle by pushing it downward yet spacers are basically the only thing I can find for my silverado. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

this kit is for 07 and up 1500s to level them out... its not a coil spacer per say, because it sits on TOP of the coils, where the bolt on the factory suspension. it does give you clearance for larger tires and suposedly does not sacrifice in ride quality because you are not altering the springs or shocks or general suspension geometry. and you mentioned spacers messing with the axle? chevy trucks have been using Idependent Front Suspension (IFS) since late 80's.. i believe it started when they swapped the body style to the c/k 1500 body style in 1988.. someone correct me if im wrong. i hope this helps!! good luck sir

Hey thank you very much man. Like I said I have no idea what I'm doing as I've never messed with suspension on any vehicle before; that link should be a good start. Thanks again, I appreciate it!
