I have a 2 inch front leveling kit on my truck, nothing on the rear. It took away the front slant and allowed 285- 65- 18 tires. I was told 305- 55- 18 would fit, but I thought that would be pushing it. It looks and rides good.
Yeah I talked to the shop again today. I'm going to buy my tires from someone else and he's gonna install them. He's only gonna charge me $40 to mount and balance them...not bad! I asked him about putting 295/75r/16s instead of 285/75r/16s and he said they would fit with no rub. He said guys have put up to 315s on the stock rims. That will be a bit stuffed for my liking.

Ya'll think the 285s or the 295s would look better with the leveling kit?

I have 285 and I think it looks pretty good. When those where out tho I am probably going to get wider ones, but thats just because i want a wider stance. If your going to do it tho, go as big as you can.

How wide can I go on the stock 16" rim? 295 is about it right?

Good question. I have no idea. A tire shop could tell you.
