Leveling Kits
 

Hello, I'm wanting to level my truck. Wanted to see if anyone has just "turned up" the Torsion Keys on the truck or did you buy the Torsion Keys for leveling it. I want to raise my truck 2" (frontend).

My truck is a :

• Chevy
• 2500 HD
• 4X4
• LT

I'm not sure you can get 2 inches by turning up the torsion keys but if you can the suspension will suffer. I suggest replacing the keys to get the 2 inches. You should also replace the shock with a longer one or add 1.5 to 2 inches to the lower mount bracket on the shock. I had a local off road shop do my 04 Z71 and they replaced the keys, upper control arms, and modified the shock bottom mount bracket. They also changed the idler arm with a beefed up one and put half inch spacers where the sway bar attached to the frame. Plus an add a leaf to the rear. That cost me $2500.
