Leveling Question

Hi all! New to the forum. I have a 2010 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab z71 4x4 and would like to level the front...have seen posts about 2 inch and 2.5 inch leveling kits. which one would level the truck? Also, the stock tires are 265 65 18's. I would like to go to a bigger tire and keep the z71 wheels. Saw a similar truck that had 305 65 18's. Does anyone know if there would be a rubbing issue or any other issue with a leveling kit? Thanks in advance.

i have a buddy that has thirty fives on a stock z71 with the torsion bars up, they scrub a little but i will let u no the exact size here in a little bit if u want, the tires arent big enough in less there is a little scrubb haha

i just bought a 2010 silverado and have 285's on it and it has a 2.5 leveling kit. i could easily go bigger on the tire but thats just wat was on old truck. good luck

the 2010's dont have torsion bars they are coil overs... and if you do a 2.5" spacer in the front then you can easily fit a 305 65 18 tire, i have seen one at work before and im not sure if he even lifted it, my friend at work has a 2008 sierra 4x4 woth 35 1250 20's and his still rubs a little bit when you turn the wheel all the way... if you want a bad ass all terrain that is quite and does amazing off road get the bfg all terrain, you will love them i promise you!

they arent quite big enough if there isnt a little scrubb haha but i just feel like it settles back down on the front when i tightin the torsion bars
