lifted truck brake hoses
Hey all,
I recently installed a 6" RCX ntd lift on my 1999 GMC sierra 1500 4wd. I have looked all over for longer brake hoses for the front because they are stretched and the kit didn't say anything about them.. The speed shops around here don't seem to care too much and send me in circles. Online all i seem to find is 1998 versions but i cannot find a '99. Can somebody please help me :) ps: the reason I am asking is I figure SOMEBODY on here has lifted a 99 sierra and can possibly point me in the right direction. Being as the kit didnt come with extension brackets or anything. I've googled my arse off. |
If your not having any luck finding long flex lines that match... why not try lengthening your steel lines to reach your stock flex lines.
Fabricate a bracket off the frame to support your longer steel lines. Sorry I couldn't be of more help... I don't know of a truck with the same flex lines and that are longer then yours Keep us updated on your progress |
welcome to the forum.....Lengthening the steel lines is a good move. Depends on what you want to do with the truck. If you are off roading it, the amount of movement in your suspension may dictate longer flex hoses. Try an off road 4x4 shop rather than a speed shop
