The column shifter lever on my '97 Sierra is loose and sloppy. I haven't looked in to it yet, but I presume it's held in place by a spring pin, and it's become worn over the years resulting in more movement. Have any of you guys tackled this, and if so, how much of a pita is it to correct?

 

not terrible...some torx sockets and basic tools required,but nothing super-special.
