Low power at low RPMs

I just got a 96 Silverado 1500 w/ 5.0 L V8 and it seems to lack power at low RPMs and vibrates from ~1600-1900 RPMs can anybody offer suggestions as to the source of this problem?

Maybe it just needs a tune up. If you lacking power I'd start by replacing the fuel pump. Then plugs, wires, so on and so forth.

It is just 2wd.

Try tuning it up first. Fuel filter might need replaced. If it vibrates badly, it could be a bad motor mount.

It seems like it is more than just a vibration, I can "hear/feel" it in the exhaust. It seems like a dead cylinder, but the gas mileage isn't suffering. Does this help???
