Default Lowering 6"

Hey all,

I have a 1989 GMC Sierra 1/2 ton which has a 350 but its 2X4. A friend recomended lowering it as I plan on using this at the races and such....basically a toy to play with. I was wondering what is all required to do this as I plan on going 6" and where would you buy a kit to pull this off. Thanks.

look through places online not sure where youll find the best deal, a kit would be better. your gonna need new shocks, new coils, possibly new spindles. depending on how you do the rear youll need new suspension brackets and either a axle flip kit or cut the frame and add a c notch. hope this helps you some.
