no, unless you have an LS1 in your truck already. You would likely have
to machine the heads to match your intake and probably more.

I hope you'll pardon my ignorance on this, but aren't both the LS1and the 5.3 considered to be GenIII engines? On the surface it would seem as if the heads, and intake,off the LS1 wouldinterchange.</P>

 

Actually, the heads and cam will swap right out. But you are better off with the 5.3 heads you already have. The LS1 heads carry a larger combustion chamber and therefore would lower your compression ratio. But you can still use the cam. <IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0">
