MAP Sensor question

have a 92 Chevy c1500 tbi with idleing issues, i've replaced fuel filter, fuel pressure is good as well as injectors, fuel pressure reg, plugs and harness, EGR and MAP Sensor. All the voltage checks are good on the MAP sensor, however when i disconnect the wiring connector from the map the truck idles fine, reconnect the wiring connector and it stalls out. this is the 2nd map sensor i've tested both with the same results..any thoughts?

Do you mean MAF? (mass air flow sensor)

and when you replaced it did you touch that thin wire? any foreign matter that gets on that can make that thing not work properly

TBI trucks don't have mass air flow sensors.

they have a map or manifold absolute pressure sensor to be technical

I stand corrected.

Thats correct manifold absolute pressure sensor.

A bad temp sensor can also cause this.

so you're suggesting replacing temp sensors to fix the map sensor problem? i know there has to be an underlying problem somewhere down the line of the map sensor, i'm just at a loss as to where else to look.
